About Jeannie
I was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia and am fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Together with my husband, I have called Hawaii home since 2001.
Prior to the private practice, I have worked in a variety of human services settings including a homeless and crisis shelter, faith-based counseling center and community-based non-profit agency. I have been blessed to help individuals who struggled with ongoing or periodic adjustment difficulties, grieving, faith struggles, high stress lifestyle, history of trauma, homelessness and other mental illnesses.
I involve and serve in the local church, local outreaches and global missions. I enjoy life-long learning through various opportunities in professional training, skills development and faith deepening.
